Who We Are Looking For

We want to hear from independent businesses that handle any of these:

• Residential mold inspection
• Mold testing and sampling
• Mold remediation and removal, including black mold
• Moisture work, such as drying and basement water control

Providers who serve homes with full basements, older frame houses, bungalows, and ranch homes are especially useful here. Moisture is a big part of the story in this region, and homeowners want someone who understands it.

What We Expect

Homeowners reach out when they are stressed. We ask providers to meet them with patience.

• Hold the licenses and insurance your state requires, and be ready to show them.
• Explain your process in plain language.
• Give written quotes with a clear scope.
• Be honest about what you can and cannot do.
• Treat containment and safety seriously.
• Never pressure a homeowner or use scare tactics.

We also ask that you do not promise insurance outcomes. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, but the insurer makes the decision.
